SCENES for a series of new short films by the National Geographic Channel and Jeep are being filmed in Salisbury this week.

Presenter Tim Shaw, right, is taking part in a five-day Great Jeep Road Trip across the UK in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, undertaking challenges along the way.

These are being filmed and will be aired later this year. It’s expected up to 6.4 million people will see the documentary-style adverts.

And the National Geographic Channel production crew will be filming Shaw participating in an archery lesson at Old Wardour Castle.

“The Great Jeep Road Trip is going to be an amazing adventure, and I will be able to experience new thrills and visit parts of the country I have never been to before,” said Shaw.

“These shorts will showcase the best of the region and I’m really excited about arriving in Salisbury for my archery lesson.”
