THERE’LL be fun and games at Semley this weekend when a new play park is officially opened.
Cutting a ceremonial ribbon on Saturday will be Wiltshire councillor Bridget Wayman, aided by children who won a competition to help design the area.
This is the first phase of an upgrade to the hall and its facilities, funded by property developers’ contributions to council coffers in response to a village survey.
Other improvements at the hall that the community are hoping for include car parking, modernised toilets with access for disabled people, and a new entrance hall.
