HORATIO'S Garden at Salisbury District Hospital will be open to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme on Sunday.

The garden was designed by Cleve West, seven-time RHS gold-medal winner, who was awarded Best in Show at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2011 and 2012 in memory of Horatio Chapple, who died in 2011 at the age of 17 and was a volunteer at the hospital's spinal unit.

Visitors will receive a warm welcome from members of the gardening team who will be happy to share their knowledge. Planting lists will be available to all visitors.

Horatio's Garden will be open from 2pm to 5pm and products, homemade teas and cakes will be on sale. For further information, visit horatiosgarden.org.uk.
