THERE were thrills but thankfully no spills at Avon Valley College in Durrington on Wednesday when students got the chance to see a motorcycle display team in action.

The White Helmet Display Team showed off their daring moves on the school’s rugby field in front of pupils from across the school.

The team is more properly known as The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team (RSMDT) and is made up of a group of serving soldiers from the Royal Corps of Signals of the British Army, who give public displays of motorcycling skills, acrobatics and stunt riding. The team is based at Blandford Camp in Dorset.
