Air ambulance needs more volunteers

WILTSHIRE Air Ambulance is marking the 30th anniversary of national Volunteer’s Week with a special event to try to recruit more volunteers.

Thirty people currently volunteer with Wiltshire Air Ambulance, helping to raise awareness of its life-saving work in the local community by giving talks and attending cheque presentations as well helping at fundraising events across the county.

People are invited to go along to the recruitment day at the Air Support Unit in Devizes on Sunday, June 8 from 2pm to 4pm.
