QUESTIONS have been raised about an area of overgrown land in Amesbury which town councillors say is becoming a road safety issue.
The piece of land near the town’s Co-op store is badly in need of maintenance and grass cutting.
Councillors discussed the possibility of taking over the land and charging for it to be properly cared for at a meeting held on Tuesday.
They are going to write to the head office of Co-operative, which owns the plot, to highlight the problem and ask for action to be taken.
