A PURSE was stolen from a woman’s handbag in the Old George Mall in Salisbury on May 26.
The victim was in Costa at about 10.30am when a man took her purse and ran off.
Three men gave chase but they were unable to find the suspect.
The purse was later found with the contents still inside.
The suspect is described as white, aged in his early 20s, tall and of skinny build. He had short, dark hair and was wearing blue jeans and a white short-sleeved top.
Officers are appealing for the three men who chased after the suspect to come forward as they may have important information to assist the investigation.
