UNITY, Unison and Harmony is the name of an event to be held at Salisbury Guildhall at the end of this month.

Salisbury Coalition Against Racism (SCAR) and Circular Arts are holding the event on June 28 to bring together the many diverse multicultural family groups living and working across Salisbury and south Wiltshire.

The event will run from 11 am to 4pm and include an opportunity to experience cultural skills, food, performance, children’s workshops, art and conversations with people from across the world.

Leading up to the event SCAR and circular arts have run a number of outreach community based workshops which have included sculpture, batik flags, dance and costume making.

The event will see a full programme of entertainment including Sarum Morris Dancers, Gambian Drummers, Keralan Women dancers, Keralan Children Dancers and Salisbury Hospital Staff Choir.

Entry is free and all are welcome to drop in during the day.
