OUTLINE plans to demolish a plant nursery in Britford Lane, Harnham, and build six homes have won the support of city councillors.
The applicant, Souchez Nursery, intends to keep the existing house on the site and the new properties would be designed in a courtyard layout where glasshouses and polytunnels currently stand.
In paperwork considered by the city’s planning committee on Monday it said the development would generate no more traffic on Britford Lane than the existing business does.
The plans will go on to be considered by Wiltshire Council as the local planning authority.
