Cranborne firefighter Mark Lambert honoured

A FIREFIGHTER from Cranborne has been presented with a long service and good conduct medal.

Mark Lambert, who has spent the last 20 years as an on-call firefighter, received the award from The High Sheriff of Dorset Jane Stichbury at Lulworth Castle.

Firefighters are awarded on behalf of the Queen for “exemplary fire service”. Each recipient must be personally recommended by the chief fire officer.
