POLICE are gravely concerned for the welfare of a missing teenage girl from Wimborne .

Amy Latham, 18, was last seen at her home address along Walford Gardens in Wimborne at 7.30am yesterday morning.

Chief Inspector Debbie Marsden, of Dorset Police, said: "I understand that Amy has been very upset recently and her family is concerned that she may come to some harm.

“She took her mobile and last made contact with a friend at 2.30pm but since then we have been unable to contact her.

"She did not take any money or clothes and she does not have access to a car. "It is important that Amy, or anyone who knows of Amy's whereabouts, comes forward as soon as possible.

"I urge Amy to get in touch – we simply need to know that you are safe and well."

Amy is white, around six feet tall and of slim build. She has dark shoulder length hair which she normally wears down. It is believed that she may be wearing black skinny jeans and a dark coloured hoody.
