Burgate's creative arts evening sees good turn-out

HUNDREDS of art lovers attended an inspired evening at The Burgate School and Sixth Form Centre in Fordingbridge.

The Creative Arts Evening was organised by teacher Sandi Robertson to showcase a wide array of talent from the|students.

The evening featured photography, film and fashion as well as textiles, art and dance.

Beth Waters won the Rotary Young Photographer competition, Tom Sumner was winner of the Fordingbridge Camera Competition while Reece Adlam has been shortlisted for Amnesty International Youth Photographer of the Year, having been one of the top ten entries of 2,700.

David Riches has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Student Exhibition.
