RINGWOOD and Fordingbridge Lions joined 37 other clubs at Paultons Park, who between them invited 3,800 people to enjoy the day.

Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions invited a group from The Stables Family Home Trust at Bisterne, which supports people with learning difficulties, to be their guests for the day.

Trust manager Jo Gibbs said: “We would all like to offer our sincere thanks to the generosity of the Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions, for giving us a truly wonderful day out.

“Their friendly approach and attention to detail ensured that all attending on the day walked away with immense smiles on their faces. It is this thoughtfulness and generosity that supports us as a charity to offer adults with learning disabilities some truly extraordinary moments.”

Any group or organisation interested in attending the next Lions Day at Paultons Park in 2015 should contact their local Lions Club for further information.
