MEMBERS of the public can have their say on Sandleheath’s Village Design Statement from now until August 14.

A new draft planning document aimed at maintaining the local character and distinctiveness of Sandleheath parish, near Fordingbridge, is on view for public consultation for seven weeks.

The Village Design Statement describes the character of the village in terms of landscape, history and physical attributes, and provides design guidance for householders, landowners, businesses and developers.

The draft document can be viewed online at www.newforest.gov.uk/haveyoursay.

It is also available at New Forest District Council’s Appletree Court offices in Lyndhurst and Sandleheath Post Office during normal office hours.
