ALL three of the peregrine falcon chicks hatched on the cathedral spire have now taken to the air.
The RSPB has set up a gazebo in the Close with two telescopes, and anyone can use them to watch the youngsters flying around with their parents.
Cathedral clerk of works Gary Price said: “Every time I walk past it’s absolutely packed. There’s been loads of interest and the charity has recruited some new members as well, so that’s great.”
The chicks are expected to stay close to their nest for anything from three to eight weeks, so the RSPB plans to be there for another month, seven days a week.
