STUDENTS at Wellington Academy in Ludgershall have created a sculpture showing their commitment to booting out bullying.

Pupils have decorated wellington boots which have been used to build the artwork on display in the school hall.

They have also created fashion designs, paintings and other works of art for an art competition that will be judged by fellow pupils.

Vice-principal Ben Bond said: “How we deal with and try to avoid bullying has been a drive for the whole school.

“We are trying to get the school recognised for doing new and different things.”

The boot sculpture joins the wicker man and chair sculptures created in recent years.
