A FUN day was held at Willowcroft Care Home in Salisbury on Friday, with entertainment of all kinds, a raffle, ball pool, barbecue and bouncy castle.
The event was organised by staff to show the home’s support for the John McNeill Opportunity Centre, a nursery for disabled children that is battling funding cuts.
Lots of people came along to the event, helping to raise a grand total of £512.
Kerry Hunt, from Willowcroft, said: “It was absolutely fantastic, and to raise £512 is really exciting. The sun came out at the last minute after we were a little worried in the morning and there were lots of children playing in the garden. It was a wonderful day.”
