A FRESH insight into the possible meaning of Stonehenge is the focus of a new book by engineer and environmental geologist Paul D Burley.
Mr Burley, who lives in Dorset, claims in the book to have proved a unified theory for understanding the purpose of Stonehenge and its links with other neolithic landscapes around the world, including Eygpt, China and the Americas.
He is an authority on sacred symbolism of ancient and indigenous cultures.
Mr Burley will be sharing his insights at a presentation this Sunday at 10am in The Alamein Suite, City Hall in Salisbury and will be talking about his book, entitled Stonehenge: As Above, So Below.
Admission to his presentation is free.
