A NEW provider has been appointed to help children and young people affected by substance misuse.
From October, Wiltshire Council’s MOTIV8 service will be run by the charity Developing Health and Independence.
Maggie Rae, corporate director for public health and public protection said: “We look forward to this vital service being developed to ensure that children and young people who are misusing substances can continue to get all the help and support they need.”
Keith Humphries, cabinet member for public health, said: “DHI has a proven record of working with young people who need help with substance abuse and we believe the charity can help our young people in Wiltshire to manage their problems and get their lives back on track.”
