Wilton housing estate moves forward

First published in News by

BUYERS are being invited to register their interest in new homes that will be built at a former military base in Wilton.

Plans to transform Erskine Barracks were approved in April and demolition work at the site has already taken place.

Building work is now about to get underway and is expected to take three years.

The 34-acre site is being redeveloped to create 292 homes plus a veteran’s care community and an enterprise hub, which could provide up to 200 jobs.

The project is part of a partnership between homebuilder Redrow, OurEnterprise and community group Wilton Community Land Trust.

Redrow will have two sales outlets branded as Wilton Hill and Erskine Park and the first properties are due to be released for sale in October.

Buyers can register their interest at redrow.co.uk or call 01276 932924 for Wilton Hill or 01276 932989 for Erskine Park.
