ALONG with a lot of other people, we walk our dog every morning in Churchill Gardens, and are amazed at the disgusting state of the skatepark, river and surrounding area which is always covered in rubbish (see photo). We tidy up after our dogs and pick up their mess. Why can't the kids do the same?
The council spent tens of thousands on this and the Market Place but can't plan/manage to put dustbins at key places or keep the parks and pathways clean and tidy.
Salisbury is visited by many thousands of international visitors annually and the council collects £800,000 revenue from car parks and parking but cannot provide dustbins around the town and parks or a team to keep them clean.
