A DISUSED pub in Fordingbridge has been restored into a stunning and spacious day nursery for babies and infants.
Fordingbridge Day Nursery opened to parents on Saturday to give them a tour of the facility, which has 80 much-needed childcare places, before it opened for work on Monday.
Tim and Liz Morey, owners of the Coach House Day Nursery in Gorley, have turned the Grade II listed former Tudor Rose Pub into a nursery in just four months.
Manager Catherine Clifton said: “Some 300 parents came to look around on our open day and it was lovely to hear so many wonderful comments. We have 80 places and already we are taking bookings. It is very positive.”
The nursery offers childcare from 7am to 7pm five days a week.
