A MOTORCYCLIST has died and another man is fighting for his life after a serious crash in Salisbury on Sunday.
The accident between a silver Nissan Micra and a black Ducati motorbike happened at about 1.20pm on Wilton Road next to the golf driving range.
A third unknown vehicle was involved but did not stop at the scene and police are asking that driver to come forward and help with their investigation.
The motorcyclist, a local man who has not been named yet, died at the scene. The driver of the Micra suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance. He remains in a life threatening condition in hospital.
The road was completely closed for more than six hours while police carried out a full investigation.
