Mere unveils new skatepark
MERE skatepark was officially opened at the weekend.
Youngsters have been asking for a skatepark in the town’s recreation ground since 2001 and it was finally made possible after funding from Hills Group, Wiltshire Council’s South West Wiltshire Area Board, developers contributions and the parish council.
The skatepark, built by Maverick Industries, caters for younger skaters as well as more experienced.
