YOUNG people are being given the chance to get involved with Salisbury’s next teenage market.
The city council has teamed up with youth hub The Unit to organise the next market on Sunday, October 26 from 11am to 3pm.
The teenage market has become hugely popular and offers a free platform for young people under the age of 30 to be entrepreneurial, try out new business ideas and sell creative products.
The market also hosts a live performance stage giving local performers and community groups a chance to showcase their talents in the city centre.
Performances range from acoustic acts to theatre groups, dance troops and DJs.
Salisbury City Council and The Unit are looking to create and set up a teenage market event team to help run the market. If you are interested in event management, music, business, stage management and marketing or have an exciting idea for the market contact the city council on (01722) 342860.
