Honest, grumpy and old.

Who was your childhood hero and why?

Brian Lara – he was breaking records at the sport I loved growing up.

There wasn't a huge amount of rugby joy when I was a kid, Wales didn't win much but perhaps Neil Jenkins.

What was the first record/CD you bought?

Definitely Maybe – Oasis.

What is the radio/television show you hate to miss?

Probably Bones at the moment.

What is your favourite film?

The Replacements.

What is your pet hate?

Dishonesty.

If you could change one thing about the place where you live, what would it be?

I would move it closer to family.

What are you reading at the moment?

We're Going On A Bear Hunt....every night.

Is there anything you are superstitious about?

I always put my batting (cricket) kit on in the same order.

If you were choosing a last meal, what would it be?

Calamari.

If you had one wish what would it be?

To slow the ageing process – the young lads at South Wilts are starting to show me up in a big way.

What do you wish you were good at?

I wish I could bowl a bouncer.

If you could meet anyone from history, who would it be?

Muhammad Ali.

If you had a time machine where would it take you?

Cardiff Arms Park in the 1970s.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

In recent times, probably being hit out of the Rose Bowl in the Southern Electric T20 final.

Is there someone well known you’ve met who really impressed you?

Glenn Maxwell, his confidence in his own ability is ridiculous.

What is your party trick?

People say I look like a Lego man.

Do you have any children?

Yes, a beautiful daughter called Emily, she is two in December.

What sports team do you support?

Cardiff Blues.

If you could take over someone’s job for the day, whose would you pick?

Warren Gatland.

What worries you the most?

South Wilts cricketer Jack Mynott.

What is your proudest moment?

Becoming a dad.

What one thing could change society for the better?

Less reality TV and "celebrity" celebrities.

If you controlled taxes, what would you tax people on?

Stupidity.

What is the most common misconception about you?

Quite a lot of people think I went to private school.

Probably Bake Off...it has got me finally.
