A WINTERSLOW man that went missing yesterday afternoon has been found safe and well following a community effort to find him.
Kenneth John Stevens, 84, who suffers from Alzheimer’s had gone missing after leaving his home to go to the local surgery. However, after lots of help from members of the public he was found.
A Police Spokesperson said: “I can confirm that we have found Mr Stevens, we would like to thank everybody with their help in locating him.
“We are especially thankful to the Winterslow Parish Council who allowed us to use the village hall as a base for the operations.”
