A MILITARY careers faire is taking place in Tidworth on Thursday, October 2 to help armed forces personnel who are looking for a new career.
The day is being run by British Forces Resettlement Services who are a not-for-profit social enterprise that help the armed forces community through the transition process of leaving the military.
The event is aimed at service leavers, the reserve forces, veterans, MOD employees, as well as their partners and families. Service personnel who are wounded, injured and sick, have also been invited to bring those ready to make the sometimes daunting transition into civilian life.
Employers exhibiting will include amongst other Randstad CPE, the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, Screwfix, Balfour Beatty Rail and Calor Gas. Support services attending will include the Army Families Federation, the Royal British Legion, and Remploy.
It is free to attend and will take place at Tidworth Leisure Centre on Thursday, October 2 from 9.30am to 2pm.
