YOUNG people are being asked to get involved with a new project to build a large scale public sculpture made out of skate, bike and scooter parts.
It is being built at the renovated skate park in Churchill Gardens in conjunction with Salisbury Arts Centre, A&R Metalcraft and Salisbury City Council.
The sculpture will be welded on site by staff from A&R Metalcraft and all are welcome to have an introduction to metal welding with professional equipment and training.
They are also looking for parts for the sculpture and people are being asked to donate any old stake board, bike or scooter parts.
It will be taking place every Wednesday from 5 to 7pm from now until November 12.
