DEFENCE Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) staff dressed as their favourite superheroes and supervillains to raise money for SSAFA recently.
Staff from Dstl’s site at Porton Down donned super outfits in support of SSAFA, Dstl’s chosen corporate charity. With costumes ranging from Danger Mouse to Darth Vader, individuals were sponsored to dress up as their favourite character and there were even some team fancy dress efforts.
To add a competitive element, the Military Advisers were asked to judge the best-dressed superhero and the winning outfits were ‘Dstl Girl’, Gandalf and the Batman team.
The fundraising efforts have raised approximately £700 for SSAFA.
