SALISBURY-based artist Hannah Fowler went back to school recently to inspire a young generation of artists.
She showed children at Chilmark and Fonthill Primary School how to draw animals from Rudyard Kipling’s 'Just So' stories, encouraging year four and five children to experiment with ink, charcoal and paints to capture the essence of the animal they had been studying.
Head teacher Karen Kearney said: “Hannah captivated everyone throughout her lesson with inspirational and practical drawing advice. I was impressed with the range of work the children produced at the end.”
