Golfers raise funds for charity
GOLFERS at Somerley Park Golf Club near Ringwood have raised more than £1,000 for BASICS Hampshire, the charity that funds emergency doctors, over the last three years.
Club captain Bob Quantick presented the cheque at the club’s annual dinner dance to Jay Andrews of BASICS Hampshire.
Mrs Andrews said: “I know how much effort it takes to raise funds – so thanks to everyone who made the charity day work.”
