A TEENAGE driver was punched in the face through an open car window after being chased by two men in a red Transit van in Bulford.
Moments earlier the 17-year-old, who was in a silver car, had been involved in a “disagreement” among young men at McDonalds in Solstice Park, Amesbury.
Driving away from the fast food restaurant and down Telegraph Hill, he was waiting behind another car at the crossroads in Bulford when the assault happened.
The two men pulled alongside him, blocking him in before getting out. One then punched him while another head butted the victim’s windscreen.
Police officers are keen to speak to any witnesses of the attack that took place on Friday, November 7 at around 8.30pm. They would particularly like to speak to the drivers of two vehicles that were behind the victim’s car when it happened.
Anyone with information can call local crime investigator Anne King at Bourne Hill Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
