POLICE are appealing for information regarding the theft of a bike from outside the new Dunelm store, Southampton road on Saturday, November 15.
The bike was chained to a rack nearest to Tesco and is believed to have been taken at some point between 5.15 and 6:15pm.
It is described as a specialized rock hopper mountain bike which is black and white with 26” wheels. Around the time the bike was taken a large stocky male wearing a light grey hooded top was seen kneeling between the bike racks and may have put a pair of bolt croppers into a back pack.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PC Matt Bennett at Amesbury Police Station on 101. Or call Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where details may be left anonymously if preferred.
