HAIRDRESSING lecturer Jane Hargreaves is urging all Wiltshire College Salisbury students and staff to get behind X Factor hopefuls Stereo Kicks – because Reece Bibby, one-eighth of the boy band who booked their place in the X Factor quarter-finals on Sunday, is her nephew.
The band’s rendition of Elton John’s Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me drew a standing ovation from all four judges – Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Mel B and mentor Louis Walsh.
Stereo Kicks have grown in popularity in the competition after the individual hopefuls were brought back just 24 hours after the Boot Camp stages and formed into a band by Simon Cowell.
Jane is now hoping people will get behind her 16-yearold nephew, aka Northern Kick, and the band.
Jane said: “I’m hoping to go up again but we have to share the tickets around as a family, although I do get regular updates from my sister Lyndsey.”
