POLICE have arrested a man wanted in connection with threatening an officer with a knife.
A 29 year-old man from Salisbury was arrested in the early hours of this morning in Devizes on suspicion of threats to kill and affray.
The incident took place at 3.23pm on Wednesday (December 10) on St Michaels Road, Salisbury.
Inspector Dave Minty said: "A number of officers have been involved in attempting to locate the wanted man over the past 48 hours.
"Since the incident, we have worked tirelessly to find and arrest the individual. He was arrested close to Forty Acres Road in Devizes at around 1.20am this morning.
"I would like to thank the local community for their help in this investigation and reassure them that incidents such as these are not a regular occurrence."
