BUDDING hairdressers from Sarum Academy showcased their skills to create a style with the ‘wow factor’.
The Year 12 NVQ hairdressing students took part in a seasonal Christmas hairdressing competition during the final week of the school term – making use of the academy’s newly opened and full equipped salon.
They were challenge to come up with the best festive hair style.
Anita Clench, who leads the course, said: “This competition gave pupils the opportunity to showcase all the skills they have been learning this term including hair-up styles and blow dry styling.”
The academy in Bermerton Heath works in partnership with the Kudos Salon from the well-established Southampton City College to deliver this popular subject.
