Salisbury Cathedral stands without scaffolding for first time in nearly 30 years
SALISBURY Cathedral stands in all its beauty - without any scaffolding for the first time in nearly 30 years.
The removal was planned to coincide with celebrations to mark the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta of the sealing of the Magna Carta, a copy of which is kept in the Chapter House.
The last time there was no scaffolding on the structure was in 1986.
