VODAFONE customers in Verwood say they have been left without mobile phone signal for days.
A spokesman for Vodafone said: "We’re sorry some of our customers in the Verwood area have been experiencing signal problems recently.
"A local mast developed a fault on 12 March and our engineers have been working to source some specialised hardware in order to carry out a repair.
"Meanwhile, we installed a temporary generator to the site which restored the service for customers locally. However, the generator is repeatedly switched off without Vodafone’s authorisation.
"Without power, our masts cannot function and the phones and devices we rely on simply won’t work. Engineers are going on site today to reactivate the generator."
