NURSES, midwives and therapists at Salisbury District Hospital gathered to share best practice, celebrate their achievements and highlight improvements to patient care.
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust’s Putting PRIDE Into Practice event included a range of presentations and displays.
Lorna Wilkinson, director of nursing said it had been a fantastic day and thanked staff their outstanding commitment to providing good care.
Sarah Elliott, director of nursing for NHS South said: “It was excellent to see such a range of inspiring person-centred care in action at Salisbury District Hospital and to experience so many examples of staff working with compassion and creativity in order to meet patients’ needs.”
