A SALISBURY postal worker bagged a special delivery as he won £12,051.50 in Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s Superdraw.
Nick Rattue, 61, claimed the first top prize since the competition was launched in Wiltshire in June last year.
Each chance in the regular lottery is £1 per week and entry into the Superdraw costs an additional £1 per week. Players must be 16 years of age or over.
If the Superdraw is not won each week the prize fund accumulates up to a maximum of £25,000.
Mr Rattue, who lives and works in Salisbury, began playing WAA’s lottery and Superdraw on January 6.
He said: “I signed up to the lotteries as Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a good cause.
“I know it’s not Government funded. I didn’t think about winning so I was gobsmacked to be told I had won the Superdraw. I haven’t got a car so I think I will be using my winnings to buy one.”
