CHILDREN and staff at Farley Nursery School Steeple Langford got to enjoy some fun in the sun with some furry little critters.

They were joined by some Indian Runner ducklings last week. who were brought in by the Rose family, and some chickens belonging to the Mays family.

Sue Palmer, of Farley Nursery Schools, said the children loved seeing the animals.

The children also took part in different outdoor activities.

The ducklings are just some of the animals at Foragers’ Farm, in Hanging Langford, which is micro community farm being set up by one of the parents. The nursery children have been invited down to Foragers’ Farm to see how the ducklings are getting on.

The nursery was recently praised by Ofsted inspectors for its "excellent" outdoor learning environment and was awarded an outstanding rating.
