SALISBURY, a city that has always been proud of the summertime colour brought by its hanging baskets, is about to take one step further into topiary.
Shaped bushes in planters are being distributed across the city thanks to a joint initiative between Salisbury Business improvement (BID) and Salisbury City Council (SCC).
The first phase of the project begins today with the arrival of a number of topiary displays.
The summer hanging baskets will continue, plus visitors will see later next month the arrival of flags and lamp post banners.
The project will also feature a 36 page brochure for both residents and visitors with all the information of what’s on this summer which will be delivered to every house in the City and available via the Salisbury Information Centre in Fish Row.
