RINGWOOD residents strutted their stuff down the catwalk at McCarthy and Stone’s Cornmantle Court development — all in the name of a good cause.

Staff and some of the glamorous homeowners at Cornmantle Court all played their part in charity fashion show on Sunday, modelling designs from M&Co and Roman Originals in the homeowners’ lounge.

Guests were treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly and nibbles, with all proceeds from the afternoon donated to local children’s hospice, Julia’s House.

With some of the latest looks on display ranging from ‘Ladies that Lunch’ to ‘A Day at the Races’, sparkly tops, elegant dresses and light summer knits were just some of the creations that graced the catwalk.

Audrey Merrington, who is a homeowner at Cornmantle Court, said: “We were all practising our best Twiggy poses in the run up to the event, and it was great fun feeling like a supermodel for an afternoon! It was such a treat to be able to try out some of the latest looks and admire all of the lovely clothes on offer."
