SARUM Academy’s Community Choir travelled to London to watch the world renowned musical Les Miséreables.
The long anticipated trip was for some the first time they had ever seen a West End show or been to London.
From the moment the curtain went up the staff and pupils were spellbound by the musical excellence on stage and were inspired by what they saw.
Sapphire Rakwins, a Year 7 pupil said: “I would give 110 per cent, it was the best thing I’ve ever seen.”
The school hope they choir will be able to take inspiration from what what is achievable on the West End stage.
Sarum Academy’s Community Choir rehearses from 4 to 5pm on Mondays and anyone in the local community is welcome to join.
