BBC Radio 2 breakfast host Chris Evans declared his love for Salisbury on air this morning after rock legend Elvis Costello's gig at the City Hall on Saturday.
The former Grammy Award winning artist was in the city as part of the Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival.
Evans said: "What a perfect gig to go to — Elvis Costello in Salisbury, could life get any better? I love Salisbury, I'd go and see anything in Salisbury, it is just a great place to be, it has all of that stuff going on, all of that vibe.
"Cerebral, spiritual you name it. If you could move Salisbury by the sea that would be the place to live.
"I mean it is nice to live there anyway, don't get me wrong."
