DELIVERING your message in a multi-media world is becoming more complex and it is the subject of a workshop being held in Salisbury next month.

The 60 Minutes breakfast event will be jointly hosted by Salisbury Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Small Business for their members at the Ten Building, Salisbury, on July 7.45am.

The session will be delivered by Salisbury Newspapers editor Bill Browne and the Managing Director of Spire FM Ceri Hurford-Jones.

"Businesses are having to compete harder than ever before to ensure their offer is recognised by their prospective customers. Engaging effectively with the media is one way they can ensure they have an advantage over their competitors. This workshop will help business people prepare for that engagement and offer guidance on the golden rules of preparing a press release."

The event is part of a series of breakfast sessions being organised by the two business organisations. On August 18th Hugh Davis of Hugh Davis Accountancy will be talking about Xero and cloud accountancy, on September 17th Robert Snook of Business Success Global will be speaking on the subject of "More Time, More Money, Less Stress", on October 20th there will be an enlightening session on the Psychology of Customer Service and on November 17th Keith Hanson, of Hanson-Chase Consulting Ltd and Tim Clayton of Whitehead Vizard will be speaking on HR and All Things Legal.
