THE wedding of Elisabeth Toyer and Nathaniel Dove was the second to be held in one of the oldest Presbyterian churches in the country - the Meeting House in Ringwood.

The service held on June 16 was the second to be held at the venue for more than 40 years.

Elisabeth and Nathaniel, both 21 years old, fell in love with the Meeting House after walking past one day last winter.

Sunflowers captured the hearts of the wedding party and bridesmaids Amy, Tash, Courtney and Ellie along with flower girls Lilly-Maye and Tayla wore bright, yellow dresses.

The reception was held at The Dudsbury Golf Club.

The couple will be making their home in London and plan to honeymoon in South America and Asia.

The bridegrooms mother Angela Dove formed part of the crew in one of the 'dragon' boats that formed the flotilla for the Magna Carta celebrations at Runnymeade.

The dragon boat team, based at Hengistbury Head, is called Pink Champagne and uses a 30 strong team of woman who are all breast cancer survivors.

The team have been invited to take part in a dragon boat festival in Hong Kong.

The Meeting House is hosting an exhibition of the Market Place dating back to the Victorian era in July.

To coincide with the exhibition there will be an afternoon organ recital and cream tea on July 8 at 2.30pm.
