BUSINESSES were out in force last night for the South Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards at Salisbury Cathedral.
More than 600 guests enjoyed live entertainment provided by pop-rock legends Texas, who earned a standing ovation.
The award winners were as follows:
Wiltshire College Apprentice Employer Award: JAS Hair
Enterprising Woman in Business Award: Molly Fisher (Landford Stone)
Sandy Balls Tourism and Hospitality Award: Cathedral Hotel
St Thomas's Church Young Entrepreneur Award: nJac
An.X Agency Marketing Excellence Award: Bassets Sales and Lettings
Spire FM New Business Award: Body Lounge
Salisbury Journal Independent Retailer Award: Wilton Flooring
Wessex Fire and Security Customer Service Award: Jumparoo
Barclays Business of the Year (£5m+ a year turnover): David Hart Aerospace Pipes Limited
Moore Stephens Business of the Year Award: (£500k — £5m a year): Landford Stone
Elite Care Micro Business Award: The Sound Emporium
Bassets managing director David Clayton won the lifetime achievement award.
