A NURSERY closed by Ofsted over "safeguarding" problems now hopes to re-open on Wednesday.
Parents of children at the Griffin School in Castle Road received a standard letter from Ofsted today, telling them the nursery could be closed for up to six weeks.
But staff say the school will be re-assessed on Tuesday and, if it meets Ofsted's requirements, will open again the following day, July 1.
The nursery was closed on Tuesday and told to "get its safeguarding policies in order".
The management apologised to parents and assured them there was nothing wrong with the children or the staff, and that it was just problem with paperwork.
